In this year’s Waltham High School honors health class with Heather Metallides, “Keep Calm and Stay Healthy” is our class motto. “Keep Calm,” because mental health affects everything, and “Stay Healthy,” because we are learning about all the things that can have an impact on our health. We look forward to sharing this information with our fellow WHS students at the second annual WHS health fair on May 4. All five of Metallides’ health classes have been planning the Health Fair since January; however, Mrs. Metallides has been working on the project since early September. The fair is something that students are excited for, especially because we have been instrumental in organizing, fundraising, and advertizing the event.
